Brain Health PRO Receives Accolades!

The members of the Canadian Therapeutic Platform Trial for Multidomain Interventions to Prevent Dementia (CAN-THUMBS UP) are celebrating a milestone publication entitled “Brain health PRO/Santé cerveau PRO: The development of a web-based program for dementia literacy and risk factor reduction”. In an editorial in the issue where the paper is published, Dr. Alex Bahar-Fuchs writes an enthusiastic review of Brain Health PRO and states that “Belleville and colleagues have delivered a commendable, rigorous, and theoretically grounded intervention that represents a new benchmark in dementia prevention research.”

Canada's Largest National Dementia Research Initiative Introduces Dementia Prevention Program

TORONTO, June 27, 2022 /CNW Telbec/ - Canada's largest dementia research initiative, the Canadian Consortium on Neurodegeneration in Aging (CCNA), has launched an innovative online program that offers older adults the opportunity to increase their knowledge of dementia, improve lifestyle risk factors and engage with researchers. The program, Brain Health PRO (BHPro), offers interactive digital educational modules to empower older adults to improve their physical and mental health, and modify their risk factors for dementia.
